We captured the Dance Company group images for "Main Street Dance" in between all of our September weddings.
These dancers know how to make it happen in front of the camera and we REALLY enjoyed doing these shots for the studio. Wendy's team is the best and the sense of family and fun they all portrayed made this one of the most rewarding experiences of 2011 for us. :c)
September was one of our busiest months for 2011. And the reason we are a little behind with our blogging. :c)
Erin and Ben were married at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church on a rainy September Saturday afternoon. After an intimate ceremony, and lots of indoor photography, we moved everything over to Bentwinds Country Club.
Rain or shine we were going to get the shots with our bride & groom and their horse and carriage ride to the reception. We grabbed the umbrella and oh what a beautiful moment it was. Especially for a bride who is going to be a doctor of veterinary medicine!
Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Slaughter and we wish you the best that life has to offer. You guys deserve nothing less. :c)

September was a busy month. With several other projects going on in addition to our steady schedule of Fall weddings, things have been just a little crazy.
In early September Deedee and Chris said "i do" at The Stone Chapel in Wake Forest. Ranee and her team had the Chapel looking beautiful as always. Images in the Chapel are magical in the afternoon with the day light coming through the stained glass. http://www.stonechapel.com

Deedee and Chris, you guys had a first class event with top notch vendors all the way around. Thank you both for letting us be such a important part of your most important day. You were fantastic at being yourselves and the results show.
We are thrilled with the launch of our new website and branding. Front and center is the new logo with a cool graphic that doubles as our Avatar as well. The purple background and artsy feel is exactly what we have been longing for.
The biggest addition to the new site is our "Fine Art Gallery" and the availability to order custom prints and art pieces online. This gallery will be evolving even more with time, so check back often for new creations.

It went down as The IMAGE MILL's hottest wedding EVER! Last weekend Courtney and Garrett said "i do" and at ceremony time it was around 104!! We couldn't thank them enough for having both the ceremony and reception indoors. ;v)
We did venture outside at Bentwinds CC just long enough to grab a few quick shots and work up a nice sweat however.
Courtney and Garrett are a wonderful couple and we could not be happier for them. Together we created memories that will last a lifetime. :c)
Last Saturday, May 28, we photographed Mallory and Joe's spectacular wedding at Magnolia Manor. We drove through 30-45 minutes of heavy rain, with some of the biggest rain drops we have ever seen, to get there. As we got close I thought no way the wedding would be dry, but within 2 miles or so it just stopped and the weather was perfect from then on.
Magnolia Manor includes many acres of beautiful rolling farm land with gorgeous landscapes and true southern charm. Sheila and Larry really create an atmosphere that is like coming home and the new Carriage House expansion adds another great space to their fabulous B&B. http://www.magnoliamanorbnb.com/
Mallory and Joe are an easy going, fun loving couple and their love for each other was perfection to capture. The wedding party was energetic and fun as well and all of their families made the formals of the day a real pleasure. Thanks to all who smiled for the camera, you're all hired! ;c)
Spring is simply wonderful in North Carolina and weddings at Highgrove are especially splendid this time of year.
Liz and Travis were married on a beautiful Spring Saturday afternoon and the weather could not have been more perfect. Highgrove has recently opened its new Garden Ballroom and in a word, FABULOUS!! We have photographed hundreds of weddings, but Liz and Travis will always be one of our most favorite couples. We connected from day one. Liz offered more than once to tell prospective brides about us at a future bridal show, before we had even taken the first wedding day photo! Ross Merle was the man creating all the excitement and handling the entertainment on this very special evening. Flowers On Broad Street created the beautiful arrangements, some very special sweet treats were created by the Grandmother of the bride and I'm sure everyone who went downtown would like to thank Mayor Meeker for allowing them control of the city until the wee hours of the morning.
