Weddings are always fabulous at Highgrove and this September afternoon was another grand event by the lake.
Jeremy and Amanda had been looking forward to their big day for months. Everything came together as planned, the weather was perfect and with all of the details, colors and creations this Fall wedding was simply gorgeous.
After a joyous ceremony, and some photography time, the guests moved from the cocktails and chef's creations to the reception and wonderful meal as only Highgrove can do.
The evening ended with a lively sparkler send-off and a limo into the night. Wonderful couple. Wonderful people. Thanks guys.

On a beautiful Fall afternoon, Beth and Ryan said "i do" by the lily pads at Duke Gardens. "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" was their theme song and her vintage dress was simply gorgeous.
We wish you both the very best and Ryan when you land the gig with Pixar, do keep me in mind. ;c )

Liz and Travis are a spectacular couple and they really put their style into our recent engagement session. They chose locations with meaning to them and backdrops that gave us an urban feel. Oh yeah!
They met at a hotdog stand just a few years ago and he proposed on the same corner, so it was only fitting that we capture some of that element within their pictures.
I absolutely can't wait until April for their gorgeous "Highgrove" wedding! Thanks guys, this session was a blast!

Meredith and Nick were married on a late June Saturday afternoon at Barclay Villa. These folks were in full party mode from the moment they arrived. And maybe before that!
There were tons of goodies for the guests to enjoy and as usual "The Barclay" delivered another stellar wedding. http://www.barclayvilla.com/ Flowers on Broad Street created the scrumptious arrangements and there were flowers everywhere. Gorgeous flowers! http://www.flowersonbroadstreet.com/
Meredith chose a HOT color, to go with the June weather, and her SMOKIN' hot shoes. There was even a congratulations note from The President to Meredith and Nick. It felt like a royal wedding and absolutely looked like one!
CONGRATS guys! Thanks for letting us be a big part of it all.

On a toasty June Saturday afternoon at Bentwinds CC, Leslie and Andrew started a new chapter of their lives together. Getting married by the lake was a gorgeous backdrop for this special afternoon.
The flowers were created by JoLynn at Victorian Seasons. Her work is always spectacular! http://www.victorianseasons.com/
Janice at Bentwinds Country Club in Fuquay knows how to pull it all together and absolutely created a wonderful ambience for this wedding.
Thanks Leslie and Andrew, you guys were great. We can't wait to see you all again when we photograph your sister's wedding in October!

Dana and Jeff were married at The Hudson Manor in Louisburg, NC on June 5th. It was a hot and steamy afternoon, but so was the wedding! Dana picked a beautiful and vibrant color combination and left no attention to detail undone.
Melissa, at The Hudson Manor, took their already beautiful venue and turned it into a breath taking backdrop. From the gorgeous gardens for the ceremony to the lighting in the ballroom, this wedding delivered style and elegance from start to finish. http://www.thehudsonmanor.com
Cinda's Creative Cakes created an always beautiful cake and a fabulous candy bar that the guests couldn't wait to dive into. http://www.cindascreativecakes.com
Thomas Benjamin Designs in Creedmoor created the GORGEOUS flowers, and there were plenty of them, Ron Smith kept the guests on the dance floor from start to finish, http://www.ronksmith.com, and Mark Holland was the always fantastic videographer for the evening.

I had the pleasure of photographing an engagement session with Amanda and Jeremy earlier this week at the gardens. We had a nice, cool, overcast day and certainly enjoyed our time together. I'm really looking forward to their fabulous September wedding at Highgrove. Thanks for a great shoot guys! :c )
